Holger Hott

Holger Hott, formerly Holger Hott Johansen ( born April 8, 1974 in Norway) is a Norwegian orienteer who starts for the club Kristiansand OK.

Career

Holger Hott for nearly 10 years one of the top athletes in orienteering and he won in 2006 in a very emotional moment his first gold medal by he decided to run the long distance at the World Championships in Aarhus, Denmark for themselves. Before that, he already won two bronze medals (2004, 2005) also the long distance. He was part of the Norwegian relay team that at the 2005 World Championships in Japan won the gold medal and in 2004 he also won the World Cup season.

Holger Hott runs for the club Kristiansand OK and was formerly at the clubs IF trauma, IL Express, IL IMAS, IFK Lidingö and Bækkelaget Sportsklubb.

He is married to the Canadian Sandy Hott orienteer. In spring 2007, the two decided to cut back on the simple Hott Hott Johansen her last name. They considered these names cut for some time and decided even before their first son came into the world in June 2007.
