Homemade is an album that the duo Cephas & Wiggins has published on Alligator Records in 1999.

General

The album follows in the tradition of Piedmont blues, a blues genres, which has developed on the east coast of the USA between Maryland and Georgia. In addition to original compositions, the CD also includes interpretations of different Blue classics such as " Worried Life Blues" by Maceo Merriweather or " Me and my chauffeur " by Memphis Minnie. For CD delivers John Cephas liner notes that provide the thoughts of the artist on each piece. The song " Worried Life Blues" is Big Chief Ellis devoted, played in the band John Cephas guitar when he met for the first time with Phil Wiggins.
