Hong Kong Stock Exchange

The Hong Kong Stock Exchange (Chinese香港 联合 交易所, also Chinese联交所; abbreviated as SEHK, HKE, HKSE, SEHK: 0388 ) is the stock exchange of Hong Kong.

Background

With a market capitalization of more than 16 trillion HK $ ( U.S. $ 2.1 trillion ) ranked the Exchange regarding the seventh-ranked in the world and third in the exchanges listed in Asia by market capitalization.

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited ( HKEx ,香港 交易 及 结算 所 有限公司, also香港 交易所or港交所) is the owner of Hong Kong Limited, Hong Kong Futures Exchange Limited and Hong Kong Securities Clearing Company Limited. The venue is also popular with Chinese companies such as Hunan Nonferrous Metals, the largest zinc producer in the People's Republic, due to its well-established access to the capital market popularity.

The Hong Kong Stock Exchange is one of the three Chinese exchanges. Furthermore, there are the Shanghai Stock Exchange and Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
