Hongya County

The circle Hongya (Chinese洪雅 县, Pinyin Hóngyǎ Xiàn ) is a district of the prefecture-level city of Meishan in Sichuan Province, China. It has an area of 1948.43 square kilometers, and 340,000 inhabitants counts ( 2004). Its main town is the large village Hongchuan (洪川 镇). The town is located on the southwestern edge of the Sichuan Basin.
