Honiton
Honiton is a town in the county of Devon in England. It lies on the River Otter, 27 km north-east of Exeter and belongs to the district of East Devon.
In the Domesday Book, the Doomsday Book of William the Conqueror in the year 1086, a paddock is run under the name Honetone at this point, which means as much as " farmstead of a man called Huna ."
The city today has a population of just 11,200 inhabitants and is an important market town, which has made a name with lace ( bobbin lace ) and Honiton pottery.
