Honorary Canadian citizenship

The Honorary Citizenship of Canada is the highest award presented by the country of citizens from abroad. It will allow people honored for their outstanding achievements. About the award decided by the Canadian Parliament. The honorary citizenship is a symbolic award. It is associated with no privileges or obligations of citizenship.

So far this honor five people. A ceremony was held posthumously.
