Hopton Hall

Hopton Hall is a country house from the 18th century in Hopton in the English county of Derbyshire. The building is listed in the British Statutory List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest.

The Gell family owned in the 14th century extensive lands in Derbyshire. In today's village of Hopton was in the 16th century Thomas Gell elisabethinisches a mansion built. He also expanded the garden and was builder of a summer house on the property. In the early 20th century, two pavilions were added.
