Geography

The creek rises on the southeast edge of the stone mountain in the Arnsberg Forest at an altitude of 425 m above sea level. NN. The source is located about 2.3 km west-southwest of Hirschberg. The Hormecke flows primarily in ostnordöstliche directions and empties into the belonging to Hirschberg local situation Bache to 336 m above sea level.
