Hospitality Club

The Hospitality Club is a so-called online hosted service. It was founded in July 2000 in Dresden by Veit Kühne. In the following years he found many supporters, family and friends first, later volunteers around the world. Mid-August 2010 there were, according to the club website about 615,000 members who offer each other free accommodation and help with travel. Thus, the Hospitality Club one of the oldest organizations of its kind and was at times one of the biggest. The official motivation of the founder is the idea that intercultural understanding and peace can be strengthened by bringing together people and closing international friendships.

Membership and functions
