Hossein Amanat

Hossein Amanat (Persian حسین امانت, born 1942 in Iran ) is an Iranian- Canadian architect and followers of the Baha'i faith. He designed the House of Justice, the International Teaching Center and the Center for the Study of Sacred Texts in the Baha'i World Centre in Haifa and the House of Worship in Apia, Samoa, was inaugurated by Tanumafili II in 1984.

He also designed some of the first building, which was founded in 1966 Sharif University of Technology in 1971 and won the competition of the University of Tehran on the draft Azadi tower.

When aggravated the persecution of the Baha'is after the Islamic Revolution of 1979, he had to leave his homeland and moved to Vancouver to Canada. He is friends with his colleague Fariborz Sahba, who also lives in Vancouver.
