With the drones she stole the wheel of power from HotWheels City and built a fort. The wheel of the power they took from then on, to send their drones in the realm of race. This consists of numerous individual tracks, some of which are organized quite differently and usually under extreme conditions (extreme weather conditions, particularly harsh obstacles, etc.) must be cycled.

After Dr. Tezla could barely survive the attack of the drones on HotWheels City, he tried to collect racers who would help him to defeat the drones. First he takes a few drivers who have participated on Highway 35, but these do not make it to defeat the threats and went successively lost in different racing areas.

Then he sent his personal robot assistants to detect other drivers. This meets two street racing teams the Teku and the Metal Maniacs, who just drive a race against each other. The team, whose drivers are partly composed of participants on Highway 35, accept the offer and meet up with another driver Tezla in its old base. After a brief meeting, he then leads them to Tezla new camouflaged base. Shortly after their arrival is equal to a racetrack accessible which they enter. At their first contact with the threats they are inferior to them and lose some vehicles as well as the race.

After upgrading their vehicles and analysis of the driving behavior of the drones succeeds drivers to be the equal of drones and they even beat in several areas.

In a later race in the urban area, a track through a big city, make the driver contact with a new group, the dumb drivers. This page is very mysterious and has a the other teams far superior technology. So they can camouflage their vehicles and have an EMP generator on board their vehicles. From this point, the most wins, and thus the most AcceleCharger be fetched from this team. The racing drones succeed now, despite the development of new vehicles such as the obstacle deflector to catch a vehicle the size of a heavy truck, which was built to find enemy vehicles and disassemble, hardly a victory.

In the scrap area, a distance by a huge junkyard, an accident, a driver of Metal Maniacs. The threats capture these and learn from him where Dr. Tezla base is located. You find it, penetrate there and occupy it. The drivers are now on a rescue mission to save their lost comrades. They took over for the control of an obstacle deflector, so that they come out after the race in the portal of the threats and not in their own, and manage to find the driver and free. Then they return with their cars back to their own base and be involved in a fight with the drones. One of them, Vert Wheeler, winner of Highway 35, enters a race against the leader of the threats and defeated them. Meanwhile flee the drivers who are in enormous numerical inferiority against the drones and blow up the base in the air. In this case, all the drones are destroyed. Wheeler wins the race against Gelorum and wants to return to base to support his friends in the fight against the threats then. Since the base and thus the Portal has since been destroyed and the portal of the drones is no longer operational, since their leader that controlled the power source of the portal, is fallen, he lands in the base of the dumb driver. There, the leader comes up to him, takes off his helmet and reveals himself as Verts father. With this open end of the last movie ends.
