Hötorget metro station

Hötorget is an underground station of the Stockholm Metro, located in the immediate vicinity of the same above-ground space. It is located in the Norrmalm neighborhood. The station is served by the Gröna linjen the Stockholm subway system. The central location in the city center makes the station to one of the busiest stations of the metro network. On a normal working day 32,000 commuters to climb here.

The station was taken on October 26, 1952 under the name Kungsgatan in operation, as the metro section Hötorget Vällingby was inaugurated, but this name was not suitable as a reference point, which is why the station on November 24, 1957 received its current name. The station was built in an open design. The station is located between the stations T -Centralen and Rådmansgatan. Stockholm Central Station is about one kilometer.
