Hreiðar Guðmundsson

Hreidar Levy Guðmundsson (born 29 November 1980) is an Icelandic handball goalkeeper.

The 1.96 -meter and 110 -pound goalkeeper played initially in clubs KA Akureyri and IK Sävehof. Between 2009 and 2011 he was the German second division club TV Emsdetten under contract. He then joined the Norwegian club Nøtterøy IF.

Hreidar Guðmundsson has played 146 times for the Icelandic national team; with it he won the silver medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics and the bronze medal at the European Championships 2010 in Austria. In summer 2012, he participated in the Olympic Games in London.
