The Doehlen Mountain, Sorbian Hromadnik, is a 514 m high mountain in Upper Lusatia.

Origin of the name

Hromadnik comes from the Sorbian and is the term for a meeting place.

Location

The 9 km southeast of Bautzen located mountain forms the western end of the Czornebohmassivs. To the north are the villages Rachlau, Döhlen, Pielitz and Großkunitz. To the west lies the village Cosul, between the highway from Bautzen leads to Cunewalde past the mountain. To the south, the valley is Cunewalder with the places Schoenberg and Spring Mountain.

The Doehlen mountain is part of various legends that have grown up around the Czornebohmassiv.
