Huang Guangyu

Huang Guangyu (Chinese黄光裕, Pinyin Huang Guangyu, also: Wong Kwong Yu, * June 24, 1969 in Shantou, Guangdong) is a Chinese entrepreneur.

Life

Huang Guangyu founded the electronics company GOME Electrical Appliances. In May 2010, the company's founder and billionaire Huang Guangyu was sentenced to a prison term of 14 years in prison for tax evasion, insider trading and financial manipulation. His wife received a sentence of three years.
