Huang Sheng Shyan

Huang Sheng Shyan, Chinese黄 性 贤, Huang Hsing -hsien ( W.-G. ) or Huang Xingxian (Pinyin ) (* February 15, 1910 in the district Minhou Fujian Province, † December 21, 1992 ) was a Chinese Taijiquan Master.

In the following 45 years was devoted to Huang Sheng Shyan of refinement and further development of the system taught by Cheng Man Ching Yang Style Taijiquan in. In the extensive educational system of Master Huang included, inter alia, the short form of the Yang style, the long form, which he developed Huang- form that he developed five loosening exercises, eighteen specified partner exercises ( Tui Shou ), White Crane and the weapons forms.

Huang emigrated to Singapore in 1956 and moved in the 60s to Malaysia. Always he was concerned with the redistribution of Taijiquan. Even at the age of 60 years, Huang publicly demonstrated his skill in Taijiquan and defeated the former Asian champion in wrestling, Liao Kuang- Chen, 26 to 0 litters at a charity event in Kuching, Malaysia.

At the time of his death, Huang Sheng Shyan had established 40 schools and taught over 10,000 people in Southeast Asia. For experts Huang is regarded as the best student of Zheng Manquin.
