Huang Tingjian

Huang Tingjian (Chinese:黄庭坚, * 1045, † 1105) was a Chinese calligrapher of the Song Dynasty, which is also known for his poetry and his painting.

He is one of the four masters of the Song dynasty and was the most famous pupil Su Shi as literati painters.

Huang Tingjian is regarded as one of the 24 examples of filial piety, since he himself was purified as a high official of the chamber pot his elderly mother.
