Huécija
Huécija is a southern Spanish town and a seaside resort on the Alpujarra in the province of Almería with 533 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013). The site covers an area of 19 km ². The highest point is located at an altitude of 410 meters above the sea level. The distance to Almeria is about 33 kilometers.
Attractions in and around Huécija
- Augustinian convent ( Convento de los Agustino ). Founded in 1511, the church of the monastery dates from the 18th century. The monastery is one of the most important baroque buildings in the province of Almeria.
