Huggins (lunar crater)

Huggins is an impact crater in the southern lunar front side, southeast of Mare Nubium and southwest of the crater Miller. The eastern part is overlain by Nasireddin, in the west Huggins touches the edge of Orontius. The crater is eroded.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the British astronomer William Huggins.
