Hugh O'Conor

Life

O'Conor was educated son of a concert pianist at Trinity College in Dublin. At the age of eight years O'Conor began acting and had 1986 on the side of Liam Neeson in the movie drama Lamb his first major appearance. In the film, he plays a boy suffering from epilepsy. Two years later he played in the Fantasy Film Since alongside Martin Sheen.

His final breakthrough had O'Conor in 1989, directed by Jim Sheridan in the Oscar -nominated drama My left foot on the side of Daniel Day- Lewis. O'Conor received for his role in a nomination for the Young Artist Award for Best Supporting Actor.

In 1993, he took over the Blockbuster The Three Musketeers a supporting role as the young French king. Two years later he got his first starring role in the dark comedy The Young Poisoner's Handbook, followed love movie Chocolat - A small bite is enough of director Lasse Hallstrom in 2000 for his supporting role he was appointed as member of the cast for Best Ensemble. nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award.
