Huhtamäki

Huhtamaki Oyj is a manufacturer of packaging materials based in Espoo, Finland.

The company is listed since 1960 on the stock exchanges of Helsinki and London ( OMX ).

Today, Huhtamaki is active worldwide in the packaging market for food. 96% of revenues are generated outside Finland.

The end of 2010 had the packaging group, approximately 53 manufacturing and sales facilities with 12,000 employees in 31 countries. Sales amounted to EUR 2 billion (2010).

In Germany, the German subsidiary locations Huhtamaki Germany GmbH & Co. KG in Ronsberg in the Eastern Allgäu (Flexible packaging materials ) exist, Forchheim in Franconia (slides ) and Alf on the Moselle (rigid plastics). The Göttingen was concluded on the basis of a group decision and vacated in mid-2007 ( sale of the site ).
