Hukuntsi

Hukuntsi is a village in Botswana Kgalagadi District in the Kalahari.

The place has the Hukuntsi Airport via an airport (IATA: HUK ).

The winter nights are very cold; in August, there is also strong winds.

Hukuntsi was one of the two most important bases which began in the 1970s, Kang- Hukuntsi mission of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in the Republic of Namibia, which was supported in this by the United Evangelical Mission, the former Rhenish Missionary Society. From these meetings, a partnership between the south-western parish of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Botswana ( ELCB ), including the Lutheran Christians of Hukuntsi belong, and the Rhenish Church District simmering -Trarbach developed.
