Hungarosaurus

System

Hungarosaurus is classified within the Ankylosauria as basal representatives of Nodosauridae. With Struthiosaurus another Ankylar from the Upper Cretaceous of Europe, whose remains were found in Austria and Romania exists. According to the describer Hungarosaurus expected something more sophisticated than Struthiosaurus, but have been primitive than the North American Nodosauriden Silvisaurus, Sauropelta and Pawpawsaurus.
