Hüseyin Yıldırım

Hüseyin Yıldırım ( born 1932 ) is a Turkish citizen, master car spy and was the East German foreign intelligence with the code name "Lightning " (Turkish: Yıldırım ) in Berlin. Today he lives in Turkey.

He was awarded by the U.S. Department Sergeant James W. Hall (alias Paul ), who worked in the central station of the telecommunications electronic reconnaissance by the U.S. against the GDR into West Berlin, top secret documents, which he of the Main Intelligence of the Ministry of State Security for 300,000 $ passed on. In 1987 he retired from the service of the Americans and moved to the United States. Through the GDR defector Manfred Severin James W. Hall was betrayed to the U.S. military intelligence for a fee. In the course of the investigation Yıldırım unmasked, arrested in 1988 in the U.S. and sentenced to life imprisonment in 1989 in Savannah (Georgia ). Yildirim judge concluded in its judgment expressly exclude the possibility of early parole. He spent his prison time in a high security prison in Pollock Louisiana.
