Huun-Huur-Tu

The importance of Huun Huur - Tu is now mainly in the further development of traditional musical forms and techniques. Until the formation of the group of traditional throat singing was almost exclusively carried forward solo, singing in the group and the company of throat singing with instruments was unknown. Many of the tools used by Huun - Huur -Tu came about, for the first time in the Tuvan music used. In addition to these innovations, however, the group also emphasizes the rediscovery and preservation of forgotten folk songs. The lyrics of this music act most of life in the steppe and the Tuvan nature, very often of horses and horsemanship. Often these topics are also represented in the Music: An essential means of expression of the Tuvan music is the imitation of noises and sounds of nature, such as the imitation of horses' hooves or bird songs, which are also used as a hunting technique.
