The language Hyam (also ham, hyamhum, jabba, Jeba, ISO 639-3 jab ) is a regionally important platoide language from the group of Plateau languages, which is spoken by 100,000 people in the Nigerian state of Kaduna.
The language is closely related to other neighboring languages: Along with the languages Cori [ cry ], Kagoma [ kdm ], Schamang [ xsh ] and Zhire [ zhi ] making it the subgroup of Hyamischen languages ..
