Hybrid image

Hybrid images are created by superimposing two similar images on the computer. An image is first blurred using a low-pass filter to obtain only the low spatial frequencies in the other image, however, are by means of a high-pass filter, the low spatial frequencies removed.

Nearby is the more detailed image dominates. When moving away from the image, blur the fine contours and the other image consisting of the soft areas of color comes more to the fore. The viewing distances for the perception of the visual changes are related to the size of the image and the visual acuity of the observer. In short-sighted people can possibly have the effect of causing discontinuation of glasses.
