The Hyōgo Daigaku (Japanese兵 库 大学, dt " University Hyōgo ," engl. Hyogo University) is a Japanese private university, which is supported by the Buddhist education corporation Mutsumi - Gakuen (睦 学园) ( Jōdo Shinshu sect Honganji -ha ). The campus is located in Kakogawa in Hyōgo Prefecture.

History

The school has its origins in Buddhist Taishi Sunday School (太子 日 曜 学校), which was established in 1921 in memory of about 1300. Shōtoku year of death of Taishi. In 1923, the Suma - Taishi House (须 磨 太子 馆, Suma Taishi -kan ) was built, and the girls school was opened for sewing with him. 1937 developed the school itself to Suma - Mutsumi - girls vocational school (须 磨 睦 高等 実 践 女 学校). 1951, the school corporation in Mutsumi - Gakuen was renamed (the name Mutsumi means " friendship ").

1955 founded the education authority the Mutsumi Gakuen Women's Short University (睦 学园 女子 短期 大学, Mutsumi joshi gakuen tanki daigaku ) with Department of Child day care. 1966 drew the short to University in today's campus and named in Women's Short University of Hyogo (兵 库 女子 短期 大学, Hyōgo joshi tanki daigaku ). In 1995 she became the co-educational university Hyōgo. In 1999 she founded the Graduate School (Master degree programs ).
