Hyper Neo Geo 64

Hyper Neo Geo 64 is an arcade system from SNK. It is the successor of the popular Neo Geo system, but was designed for 3D graphics.

General

SNK Hyper Neo -Geo brought the 64 in 1997 as a board for game rooms. This step was necessary because the competition at the time was able to inspire the clients already with 3D games, the Neo Geo, known for its fighting games, but not.

  • 4 MB RAM, 64 MB program memory
  • Color Palette: 16.7 million colors
  • 96 MB of vertex memory, 16 MB of texture memory
  • 128 MB memory for sprites, 64 MB for sprite scrolling
  • Sound: 32 channels, 44.1 kHz sampling frequency, 32 MB RAM wavetable
