Hypobibazon Class

The Hypobibazon class is a named group with a Notnamen Attic black-figure vase-painters - and simultaneously a type of ancient Greek vases.

The Hypobibazon class got her Notnamen in the image on a vase ( Namenvase ), showing a warrior who rises on a horse. The class consists of Bauchamphoren who designed an older form with rounded feet and handles more modern. So they take a Vase type of manufactured compared to earlier times rarer. Typical of the group are Schlüsselmäander over the images fields. The picture windows are filled with only a few figures that are thereby particularly striking. Preferably motifs including, for example, a fisherman or men are shown outside the myth bear the vessels.
