I'm So Excited is a song by the Pointer Sisters in 1982, it appeared on their album So Excited! . In 1984 the song was re-released. The song was voted one of the "Songs of the Century " by the Recording Industry Association of America ( RIAA ) and placed on # 264 of 365 songs.

In 1982, the single reached # 30 place on the Billboard Hot 100 in the U.S.. Two years later in 1984 the re-release reached number 9 on the U.S. charts.

Music Video

The music video for I'm So Excited was first shot in 1984. The video shows how the sisters prepare for a night at the disco. Anita chooses her clothes off and stylt at the mirror, Ruth draws on her bed different dresses and skirts, and selects the best; June washes up in the bathtub. At the disco, the three girls are admired by other people and have at the end of the video the disco firmly in hand and dancing to their song.

A scene of the video, can be seen in the June's belly in the bath was removed due feared controversy.
