Ian Buchanan
Ian Buchanan ( * June 16, 1957 or 1956 in Hamilton, Scotland) is a Scottish actor and former fashion model.
Life
Buchanan was born as the second of six children. His father was a master, nurse his mother. At the age of eighteen years he worked as a bartender, with twenty he ran a restaurant. He then worked in London as a model. 1983 brought him the Ford Modeling Agency in New York City. There he was trained as an actor at the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute and personally by Marcia Haufrecht. He then moved to California, where he in 1986 with the television series General Hospital began his career. Since then, Buchanan has appeared in various television series and films.
