Ibos, Hautes-Pyrénées

Ibos is a commune in the Hautes -Pyrénées, in the Midi -Pyrenees. It is located in Tarbes district and canton Bordères -sur- l'Échez.

Ibos has 2780 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) to 32.88 square kilometers and is located four kilometers west of Tarbes in the Bigorre. Through the community Autoroute A64 lead ( the junction Tarbes- Ouest is located in the municipality ) and the Route nationale 21 through the village and the flow of Souy echez.

The Collegiate Church of Ibos 1342 by Philip VI. de Valois, who was also Count of Bigorre, donated. This collegiate church was declared a monument historique in 1875.
