Iburi Subprefecture
Iburi (Japanese胆 振 総 合 振兴 局, Iburi - sogo - Shinko - kyoku ) is a sub-prefecture of Hokkaido Prefecture. It has an area of 3697 km ² and a population of 432 578 (as at 31 July 2007).
History
In the reorganization of Hokkaidō April 1, 2010 it was renamed Iburi - sogo - Shinko - kyoku.

- On 1 March 2006 the village was incorporated in the Otaki district Usu in the city date.
- On 27 March 2006, the cities Hayakita and Oiwake included in the district Yufutsu together for new city Abira.
- On 27 March 2006, the cities Hobetsu and Mukawa included in the district Yufutsu together for new city Mukawa. The spelling of the city's name has been resized to Hiragana.
- On 27 March 2006, the cities Abuta and Toya included in the district Abuta together for new city Tōyako.
