ICON-SCM

ICON-SCM is a software manufacturer and solutions provider based in Karlsruhe and San Jose ( California). The company was founded in 1992 by Michael Keppler and Kurt males in Karlsruhe.

The focus is on integrated supply chain planning, collaboration and liability management solutions. These cover many supply chain planning processes such as Sales and Operations Planning, Demand Planning, Supply Chain Visibility and Liability Planning from and are particularly efficient and cost-effective method ( Best Practice) in the high tech industry matched .. core parts of planning solution have been 2010 patent protected ( patent US7974720. ).

Its users include Hewlett -Packard, Western Digital, Honeywell, Sanmina -SCI, Foxconn, Tellabs, Daimler, BMW, Audi, RadiSys, and since 2012 also Canon.

At the ceremony of the Supply Chain Innovation Awards 2009 during the annual conference of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals ( CSCMP ) in Chicago ICON-SCM and Tellabs were in September 2009 with the world's second place for its solution "A Framework for Success: Improving the Efficiency of Outsourced Manufacturing Operations "category. The case study describes the problem and solution strategy, which was implemented in the framework of a joint implementation project.

Since November 2010 ICON solutions are distributed by SAP under the name "SAP ® Supply Chain Response Management by ICON-SCM ".

End of June 2013 was taken over by the American company E2open and therefore renamed E2open AG ICON - SCM.
