IEEE 802.11d-2001

The IEEE 802.11d standard of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers ( IEEE) is also popular as the " World Mode " and sets out the technical differences of Wireless LAN in different countries and regions. This includes, among other things, the number and selection of channels that have been approved in any country for the use of Wi-Fi. Is also regulated the selection of the base technology, so whether IEEE 802.11 a, h, b, or g may be used. The end user must specify only its current location on a country or region selection thanks to IEEE 802.11d, the unit will then work with the relevant approved standards.
