Ifrane (Arabic إفران, Ifrán DMG ) is a city in northern Morocco in Meknès -Tafilalet region. The modern beautiful little town in the mountains of the Middle Atlas is a popular ski resort for the Moroccan middle and upper classes.

In the 2004 census, there were 13,074 inhabitants, in 2010 14,274 inhabitants were calculated. Ifrane is located at an altitude of 1650 meters, 64 kilometers south of Fez and 17 kilometers northeast of Azrou. Nearby is the Ifrane National Park.

The opened in 1995, Al- Akhawayn University is an Ivy League university, which was founded jointly by the Moroccan and the Saudi Arabian king. The curriculum follows the American model and will be held in English.
