Ignacio Bergara

Ignacio Bergara, full name Ignacio Miguel de Bergara Medina, ( born July 20, 1940 in Montevideo, † January 4, 2004 in Ibiza, Spain ) was a Uruguayan football player.

Association

Bergara midfielder was in 1958 in rows of montevideanischen Racing Association. After Bergara in the season 1962/63 in Spain denied 15 Erstligapartien for RCD Mallorca, he joined in 1964 to 1969 for its league rivals Espanyol. There, in this period are 51 games in the Primera División out for Bergara, in which he scored seven goals. From 1969 to 1972 he played for UE Sant Andreu. In these three seasons Segunda División, he completed 58 matches and scored twice.

National

Bergara participated with the Juniorennationalelf Uruguay at the Junior Americas Cup 1958 and took the title with this team.
