Igort

Igort ( born September 26, 1958 in Cagliari as Igor Tuveri ) is an Italian comic book artist.

After initial work for the Italian comics magazine Linus, he and Lorenzo Mattotti, Daniele Brolli, Roberto Baldazzini and Giorgio Carpinteri the group Valvoline, which brought out the indie comic magazine Il Pinguino. Hurlant From the late 1990s published Igort some experimental single albums in comic publishers in France and Italy, and was also in the magazines Métal and L' Écho presented the Savanes. In the 1990s he drew the Amore et Yuri series for the Japanese publisher Kodansha. His own publishing house - Coconnino Press - he founded in 2000 and created for four albums.

Igort also works for radio and for television.
