Iker Camaño

Iker Camaño Ortúzar ( born March 14, 1979 in Santurtzi ) is a Spanish cyclist.

Iker Camaño began his professional career in 2002 with the Swiss cycling team Phonak. After two years there, the Basque joined the Spanish cycling team Euskaltel -Euskadi. Here he first took part in the Tour de France and finished it successfully on the 26th place overall. In the junior standings he finished fifth. A year later he took it back on the Tour de France in part and finished it this time on the 69th rank.

Since 2007 Camaño goes for Saunier Duvall or its successor team Scott - American Beef. There he was in 2008 with a stage win at the Vuelta a Chihuahua celebrate his first professional success.
