Ilia Trilling

Ilia Trilling (also Ilya Trilling; * 1895 in Elberfeld, † 1947) was a German - Jewish theater producer and composer of Jewish theater music. He worked in Poland, Ukraine and the United States.

Life

During the 1920s he emigrated to the United States. However, from the Russian authorities, he only got a passport for himself personally. As has been changed from a friend in the name Ilya Familya ( family), could now come with his family. He continued his work in Yiddish theaters in America.
