Iljaz Reka

Ilyaz Reka (December 6, 1924 Dibra district, † December 27, 1975 ) is a former Albanian politician of the partia e puNES e Shqipërisë ( PPSh ).

Biography

In 1950 he was first elected as a deputy of the National Assembly ( Kuvendi Popullor ) and belonged to this as the representative for the district of Durres from the sixth to the end of the eighth legislature in 1978.

Immediately afterwards he was on 5 July 1950 as a successor to Gaqo Tashko Agriculture Minister, this office but lost on September 6, 1951 Hysni Kapo. Later he was also temporarily 1st Vice Minister of Agriculture.

From September 25 1973 to December 27, 1975 Reka was President of the People's Assembly.
