Illinois Route 5

The Illinois State Route 5 ( IL 5 short ) is a state highway in the U.S. state of Illinois, which runs in an east -west -south direction.

The State Route begins on U.S. Highway 67 in Rock Iceland and ends after 25 kilometers east of Silvis on Interstates 80 and 88 and at the Illinois State Route 92

Course

The IL 5 runs from the junction of U.S. 67 in an easterly direction parallel to the Rock River and meet south of Moline on the route of the Interstate 74 and U.S. Highways 6 State Route leads on the southern outskirts as John Deere Expressway along. In Silvis it is crossed by the Illinois State Route 84 and leaves together with the State Route 92, the town in a northeasterly direction. The IL 5 goes on the Cross I- 80 Interstate 88, this follows the IL 92, following the route of I -88.
