Ilya Yashin

Ilya Yashin Valeryevich (Russian Илья Валерьевич Яшин; born June 29, 1983 in Moscow ) is a Russian opposition politicians.

Life

Yashin graduated from the school of general education with in-depth profile Russian language and literature and the art school. In 2000 he enrolled at the Institute for Political Science of the International Independent Ecological- political science university. In 2005 he defended his diploma on the methodology of organizing street protests, Diploma father was Jaschins S. F. Chernyakhovsky, member of the Academy of Political Science.

In 2007, Yashin entered the doctoral program of the State University - Higher School of Economics, Institute of Applied Political Science, under the direction of J. A. Nisnewitsch.

Yashin is the author of columns and other publications on the website of the radio station Ekho Moskvy, in the Novaya Gazeta and other media.

Yashin is unmarried. In June 2012, in the Russian press appeared the news that he is romantically involved with TV presenter and opposition Xenija Sobchak.

Political career

In 2000, Yashin joined the Yabloko party. From 2001 to 2005 he was head of the Moscow Youth Movement of Yabloko. From 2005 to 2008 he was president of the whole Russian youth movement of Yabloko. 2003-2006 Yashin was a member of the regional council of Yabloko, from 2006 to 2008 a member of the federal offices of the party.

In December 2008, Yashin attended the inaugural meeting of the Solidarity democratic movement and was elected to the Federal Political Council of the Solidarity office. On 18 December 2008 Yashin was excluded from the Moscow Regional Council of Yabloko party Yabloko, because he had " brought political damage " of the party. On 20 December 2009, the Arbitration Court of the party had his resume, but he was under pressure from Grigori Yavlinsky only a good hour, 40 minutes later excluded from the party, this time from the party meeting.
