Imanol Agirretxe

Imanol Agirretxe Arruti (born 24 February 1987 in Usurbil ) is a Spanish footballer who plays for Real Sociedad in the Spanish Primera Division plays.

Playing career

Imanol Agirretxe began his career as a footballer at the Basque club Real Sociedad tradition. There he went through several youth teams before being appointed in 2005 in the B- team of the " Txuri Urdin ". After two seasons in the Segunda División B with 19 goals in 59 games was Agirretxe on January 8, 2006, in the 0-1 away to Celta Vigo his professional debut in the first team.

Due to the great competition, Agirretxe previously could not prevail at Real Sociedad. After six operations in his first pro season and the descent into the Segunda División, he plays for the first team hardly matters. For the second half of the 2006/07 season he was loaned to second-division CD Castellón, but even there he played only rarely.
