Imperial Beach is a city in San Diego County in the U.S. state of California, with about 26,300 inhabitants ( 2010). The metropolitan area has a size of 11.7 square kilometers and is located west of Interstate 5 at the California State Route 75, just 4.5 miles off the north-west frontier of Mexico. Imperial Beach has 450 meters, the longest pier in San Diego County.

Almost half of the population are Hispanic or Latino, followed by a substantial proportion of ethnic European-born whites make more than a third of. Other groups, such as African Americans and Asians represent minorities, according to accounts for only small percentages of the total population in these ethnic groups.

Imperial Beach has been the setting for the 2007 running television series John from Cincinnati.
