Imperial State Electric

Imperial State Electric is a Swedish rock band formed by Nicke Andersson ( Entombed, The Hellacopters ) with Dolph de Borst ( The Datsuns ), Tobias Egge and Thomas Eriksson was founded. Named after the band's debut album was released in March 2010.

History

After the end of the Hellacopters 2008 Andersson first began writing songs for a solo album. So almost all the songs were written on the debut, up to two texts by Andersson himself. Finally Andersson presented but a band together. With the members he had worked in his cover band Cold Ethyl after the end of the Hellacopters. Andersson sees Imperial State Electric as a band, not only as a solo project. However, there was no band " in the traditional sense ." Andersson looked at it as "his T. Rex ," in which he constituted Marc Bolan, which would mean that he is "the boss" was. Live played Andersson, however, partly also drums - there were next to each other to set up two drum sets. In August 2013, the band announced on its website on a new album.
