Ina Claire
Ina Claire, actually Ina Fagan (* October 15, 1893 in Washington DC, † 21 February 1985 in San Francisco, California ) was an American film and stage actress in the 1910s, 1920s, 1930s and 1940s.
Biography
Ina Claire's career began at smaller vaudeville theaters and it soon led to the Broadway stage and for the feature film. She starred in several comedies. Ina Claire was elected to the Theatre Hall of Fame in New York and has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The 1.63 m great actress died at the age of 91 years in San Francisco and was buried at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Salt Lake City.
