Ina Korter

Ina Korter ( born January 8, 1955 in Nordenham ) is a German politician and Member of Parliament of Lower Saxony. She is divorced and has two children.

Education and work

After graduation Korter studied 1974-77 History and Art / Visual Communication for teachers at elementary and secondary schools. Your she completed 1978/79 in Heuchelheim. 1980/81 she worked at the orientation stage South and 1981-87 as a tutor at St. Vincent home in Nordenham. After a parental leave she was in youth and adult education, worked at a nursing school and the community college and taught ethnic children. Between 1994 and 2000 she was head of multicultural children's clubs of the German Child Protection Agency in Nordenham. Subsequently, she worked until her election to the state legislature on the Paddstockschule in Ovelgönne.

Policy

Since 1982 Korter Member of Alliance 90/The Greens. From 1998 to 2003 she was a member of the State Executive Committee of Lower Saxony. 1991-96 she served on the council of the district Weser march and was chairman of the local Green Party. 1996-98 she was a member of the City Council of Nordenham. In 2003 Korter was elected on the regional list in the Lower Saxony state parliament.
