Indexi

Indexi was a Yugoslav rock band that was founded in 1962 in Sarajevo.

First, the Indexi played instrumental cover versions of Western music, but began in 1967 to compose their own pieces. Between 1964 and 1981 they recorded many records, then only followed sporadic appearances.

Among her most popular pieces Bacila ever heard sve niz rijeku ( She has everything thrown into the river ), which was (eg Crvena Jabuka ) was covered by many other Yugoslav bands.

Members of the band were:

  • Davorin Popović (1946-2001), singer
  • Slobodan Kovačević A., guitar
  • Fadil Redžić, bass

As well as temporary drummer ( for example, 1974/75: Milić Vukašinović, * 1950) and keyboard player ( for example, 1964 to 1968: Kornelije Kovač, * 1942).

After the death of their singer, the band broke up for good.
